About me

Sophie Jacobs (2020, Color)

Bred in the suburbs of Boston, I flew down south to New Orleans to attend Tulane University at the age of 18. While there, I studied communication and English, obtaining a supplementary education in the culture and customs of the city. Living in New Orleans changed my perspective on the whole “America” thing, but my heart still pled for home.

With all the clothes and comforts I could carry, I boarded a plane and landed in Israel with a new citizenship and the rest of my life ahead of me.

Then there I was, a soldier, in the Israeli Defense Forces with a super cool job I couldn’t write about. This site held some of my story (the unclassified version).

Now I’m an adult with a big girl job in cybersecurity. I write about ATO attacks and malware. Ick. Sometimes I design nice graphics. I run our LinkedIn page. Nespresso keeps me awake but it’s the challenge that keeps me going.
